The Chaplet of the Precious Blood

This devotion consists of seven mysteries in which we meditate on the seven main sheddings of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. The Our Father is said five times after each mystery except for the last, when it is said three times------in all thirty-three times in honor of the thirty-three years of Our Savior's life on earth.

V. O God, come to my assistance!
R. Lord, make haste to help me!
V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost,
R. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

FIRST MYSTERY

Jesus shed His Blood in the Circumcision.
Let us ask for chastity of soul and body.
Our Father five times, Glory be to the Father once.

R. Whom Thou hast redeemed with Thy Precious Blood!

This invocation to the Precious Blood is said
after the Our Father and Glory be of each mystery.

Shining as Lights in the World

Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed me, not only in my presence, but much more now in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

“I do not think there are many among Bishops that will be saved, but many more that perish.”

St. John Chrysostom

Cardinal Sarah said in Mexico: "Modern man has started a terrible satanic war against God and against man himself"

Cardinal Sarah pointed out: Contemporary man “Aims to heal ecology and defend the environment, but at the same time promotes abortion, euthanasia and homosexuality”

Cardinal Sarah is in Mexico to give a series of lectures, the VidaNuevaDigital.com website wrote on June 27.

"Spiritually, man is bankrupt", he said at the La Salle University in Mexico City.

• Many people have forgotten God, and have concentrated on fleeting pleasures.

• Creation is at war with that man who claims to defend the environment, but at the same time promotes abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality; against that man who claims to fight against genital mutilation, but at the same time promotes sex change with more harmful mutilations; against that man who fights to protect nature, but at the same time destroys marriage, life, and refuses to accept himself in his own identity as a man or a woman.

• “Abortion is legal. But do we really think that killing an innocent child is a good thing?” He wondered. In addition, he said, "God has created us male or female and today we say that each one can choose whether to be male or female."

• Man has waged a “satanic war” against God and against man himself.

• Christians "faced with the spiritual emptiness under the veil of so much material prosperity and moral and cultural decadence, we feel compelled to withdraw from the world to be far from its idols, from its anti-Christian and destructive ideologies of man."

• The Cardinal called us to go to the desert to look for God to adore him: “We withdraw from the world and its illusions, not out of contempt for creation and our societies, but to seek the truth about God and about man.”

"For Cardinal Sarah the compass is in the four cardinal points that emphasize his thought: The Cross, the Eucharist, the Word of God and Prayer." The cardinal invited us to discover the beauty of the sacredness of the liturgy, the mystery of the Cross. To deepen the centrality of the Word of God and of prayer in the life of the Christian. And in the signs and instruments of our salvation that are the Sacraments.
Finally, let's remember that Saint Hildegarda explained that homosexuality is the supreme offense against God.

Saint Peter Damian: “[The vice of sodomy] mobilizes a person in the militia of the evil spirit and force him to fight unspeakable wars against God.

And also that Pope Benedict XVI associated abortion and homosexual pseudo-marriage to the spiritual power of the Antichrist.

Prayer To Our Lady Of Perpetual Help For The Conversion Of A Sinner

O Mary, Mother of Perpetual Help, thou knowest so well the great value of an immortal soul. Thou knowest what it means, that every soul has been redeemed by the Blood of thy Divine Son; thou wilt then not despise my prayer, if I ask from thee the conversion of a sinner, nay, a great sinner who is rapidly hurrying on towards eternal ruin. Thou, O good, merciful Mother, knowest well his irregular life.

Remember, then, that thou art the refuge of sinners, remember that God has given thee power to bring about the conversion of even the most wretched sinners. All that has been done for his soul has been unsuccessful; if thou dost not come to his assistance, he will go from bad to worse. Obtain for him an effectual grace that he may be moved and brought back to God and his duties. Send him, if necessary, temporal calamities and trials, that he may enter into himself, and put an end to his sinful course.

Thou, O most merciful Mother, hast converted so many sinners at the intercession of their friends. Be moved also by my prayer, and bring this unhappy soul to true conversion of heart. O Mary, help; O Mother of Perpetual Succor, show that thou art the advocate and refuge of sinners. So I hope, so may it be.

Plea to St. Pelagius of Córdoba for Spain —Martyr of Purity and Faith for rejecting homosexuality and Islam

St. Pelagius of Córdoba (c. 912–926) (in Spanish San Pelayo Mártir, in Galician San Paio)

Martyr for faith and chastity.

Memorial:  June 26
Patronage: Chastity and youth, abandoned people, victims of torture, Castro Urdiales, Spain.

Model of purity, heroism and faith for priests and seminarians.
He is an example of the virtue of youthful chastity against homosexuality.
He is a Model of Temperance.

Heroic model of Fortitude in the face of apostasy.

Saint Pelayo is the patron of the Minor Seminary of Tui, his remains were transferred to León and later to Oviedo, where he is venerated in a monastery of Benedictine nuns.

We read in the “Martyrology”: “In Córdoba, in the Hispanic region of Andalusia, Saint Pelayo, martyr, who at the age of thirteen, for wanting to preserve his faith in Christ and his chastity in the face of the dishonest customs of Abd al-Rahmán III, Caliph of the Muslims, consummated his glorious martyrdom by being torn to pieces with pincers (925)”.

Martyrdom of Pelagius of Cordova

Pretiosa in conspectu Domini mors sanctorum eius

Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord, is the death of his saints.

Plea to St. Pelagius of Córdoba for Spain

(– Dom Prospero Gueranger, Abbot of Solesmes)

— Oh Pelayo, how great is your glory in heaven! With Justo and Pastor, with Dominguito del Val, with Eulalia and Julia, and with Flora, you form a bouquet of glowing carnations and white lilies worthy of presenting yourself to the King of glory. Neither the brilliant court of the Caliph of Córdoba, nor his dazzling promises deceived your eyes. You preferred to those deceitful and obsolete pleasures the incomparable glory promised by Jesus Christ to those who give their lives for him. Remember to ask for Spain, now free of Muslims but not of Marxists, so that it preserves its faith. Above all, pray for the youth, whose faith tries to be perverted with doctrines of perverse philosophies, and whose chastity is threatened by pagan sensualism.

The seven steps with which a man kills his conscience. Based on a sermon by Saint John Fisher

The Seven Steps to Killing a Conscience

Speaking of "his Majesty's conscience", Bishop John Fisher
had once given a sermon during Lent to Henry VIII's Court from which
the following seven steps are clearly set forth.

Step One: The process starts with the individual facing the temptation of doing a sinful act: it seems to promise pleasure and satisfaction, but the individual knows that, objectively, it is a sin.

Step Two: The individual decides to commit the sin.

Step Three: He or she plans how to commit the sin.

Step Four: She commits the sin.

Step Five: She enjoys it so that much she commits the sin again and again with no regret or repentance.

Step Six: She faces a choice: repent and seek reconciliation from God and the Church or convince herself that the sinful acts are not sinful at all. She or he develops a habit of mortal sin and the will succumbs to the repetition of the habit; he ignores the voice of God in his conscience and the intellect decides that what he knew before was wrong is now right. He has killed his conscience, the voice of God. As Blessed John Henry Newman would say in the 19th century, he has adopted the right of self-will as his guide.

Step Seven: Now he wants others not only to accept his sin as being no sin at all, but also to partake of his sin as a good thing that leads to pleasure and satisfaction.

The Martyrdom of St. John Fisher for his Defense of Marriage against Divorce

Prophecies of Anne Catherine Emmerich: “I see many excommunicated ecclesiastics who do not seem to be concerned about it, nor even aware of it. Yet, they are excommunicated whenever they cooperate to enterprises, enter into associations, and embrace opinions on which an anathema has been cast.”

Cardinal John Henry Newman (1801-1890):

"I thank God that I live in a day when the enemy is outside the Church, and I know where he is, and what he is up to. But, I foresee a day when the enemy will be both outside and inside the Church ... and, I pray for the poor faithful who will be caught in the crossfire."

Liturgical Collect Prayer:

O God, who in martyrdom have brought true faith to its highest expression, graciously grant that, strengthened through the intercession of Saints John Fisher and Thomas More, we may confirm by the witness of our life the faith we profess with our lips. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus is the remedy against liberalism, pride and debauchery of sexuality

Prayer of a young man asking Saint Aloysius Gonzaga for his protection and purity

O most glorious Saint Aloysius, who hast been honored by the Church with the fair title of "angelic youth," because of the life of utmost purity thou didst lead here on earth, I come before thy presence this day with all the devotion of my mind and heart. O perfect exemplar, kind and powerful patron of young men, how great is my need of thee! The world and the devil are trying to ensnare me; I am conscious of the arbor of my passions; I know full well the weakness of inconstancy of my age. Who shall be able to keep me safe if not thou, O Saint of angelic purity, the glory and honor, the loving protector of youth? To thee, therefore, I have recourse with all my soul, to thee I commit myself with all my heart. I hearby resolve, promise and desire to be especially devout toward thee, to glorify thee by imitating thy extraordinary virtues and in particular thy angelic purity, to copy thy example, and to promote devotion to thee among companions. O dear Saint Aloysius, do thou guard and defend me always, in order that, under thy protection and following thy example, I may one day be able to join with thee in seeing and praising my God forever in heaven. Amen

Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for Purity

The Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary was officially established throughout the Church by Pope Pius XII on May 4, 1944, to obtain through the intercession of Mary: Peace among nations, freedom for the Church, the conversion of sinners, love of purity and the practice of virtues.

Mary, by your Immaculate Conception, purify my body and sanctify my soul. This prayer was granted an indulgence by Saint Pius X.

Let us consecrate ourselves under the protection of our Blessed Mother:

Oh, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Virgin Most Pure, mindful of the terrible moral dangers threatening on all sides, and aware of my own human weakness, I voluntarily place myself, body and soul, this day and always, under thy loving maternal care and protection. I consecrate to thee my body, with all its members, asking that thou wilt help me never to use it as an occasion of sin to others. Help me to remember that my body is 'The Temple of the Holy Ghost,' and to use it according to God's Holy Will, for my own personal salvation, and the salvation of others. I consecrate to thee my soul, asking that thou wilt watch over it and to bring it home safe to thee and to Jesus in Heaven for all eternity. Oh Mary, my Mother, all that I am, all that I have is thine. Keep me and guard me under thy mantle of mercy as thy personal property and possession. Jesus, Mary, I love Thee, save souls!

Imprimatur: Bishop Albert Zuroweste Belleville, Illinois

Novena of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Ninth Day

Intention: The Spiritual Welfare of our Children

Oh Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of the Infant Babe of Bethlehem, and Our Mother, enkindle in our hearts the spark of youthful innocence. We know of thy great love for little children. It was to innocent children that you deigned to appear, revealing the Message of Fatima, and charging them with its propagation. We know no better way to show our regard for them, dear Mother, than to offer our prayers for all children everywhere.

Therefore, O Mother dear, we ask thee to watch over all children in all parts of the world, to guard and protect their homes, to preserve the schools wherein they learn, and to keep them from being tainted with godless education. Direct them in their play and in all their works, that they may grow in age, wisdom, and the love of God. Grant too, Blessed Mother, that the prayers of our children may hasten the end of all wars of carnage and devastation and grant unto this world an era of just and lasting peace. We pray that the world may return to Jesus, thy Son, through Reparation to thy Immaculate Heart.

Our Lady of Fatima, we beseech thee to inflame our hearts with the love of Reparation.

Prayer To Saint Joseph For a Life of Purity

Prayer for Purity Saint Joseph, father and guardian of virgins, into whose faithful keeping were entrusted ...
