Novena of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

— Our Blessed Mother in Fatima revealed to Jacinta that: “The sins which cause most souls to go to hell are the sins of the flesh,” or sins against chastity. That is to say, the Sins against the 6th and 9th Commandment.

FIFTH DAY

Intention: Salvation of Souls

Oh Immaculate Heart of Mary, Virgin most powerful, we know that the vision of the terrible fires of hell which you showed to the three little shepherd children at Fatima, was really meant for us.

We beseech thee, Oh Mother Mary, to spare us the fate of a judgment that ordains such a punishment. Grant unto us a faith so strong that we may ever realize that the evil of sin will be justly repaid with eternal punishment.

I believe in the Infinite Justice of the one true God and the Infinite Love of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We pray and beseech thee that through your intercession we may be given the grace to live so worthy a life on earth, as to enjoy the reward of eternal happiness in the kingdom of thy Divine Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Our Lady of Fatima, Virgin most powerful, inflame our hearts with the love of Reparation.

Glorious Archangel, St. Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, illustrious by thy gifts of wisdom and grace, guide of travelers by land and sea, consoler of the unfortunate and refuge of sinners, I entreat thee to help me in all my needs and in all the trials of this life, as thou didst once assist the young Tobias in his journeying. Now here is the word of Jesus Christ: "If you would enter into life, keep the commandments" (Matt. xix., 17). Let them each one fully convince himself of this, that if his piety towards the Blessed Virgin does not hinder him from sinning, or does not move his will to amend an evil life, it is a piety deceptive and Iying, wanting as it is in proper effect and its natural fruit.
